The art of sumi-e painting and Japanese calligraphy, shodo, have been together for a long time and they have shared an artistic harmony on paper/washi. This workshop is aimed to people that have followed several courses of sumi-e or shodo.

Depending on each person’s experience, students will learn about the importance of the path (do) and will paint the poetic of natural figures and write complicated characters at the same time they learn their philosophy. They will all enjoy the ink strokes expressing their emotions.

Students will have, depending on availability, the service of the library classroom with bibliographic material complementary to the course.
