Intensive Japanese course aimed at people who have never studied Japanese but are eager to learn the basic language to communicate with local people in typical situations during a trip to Japan.
At the end of the course the student will be able to have simple conversations in restaurants, shops, train and metro stations, and during encounters with Japanese. You will also be able to know the Japanese culture related to touristic places, gastronomy, typical souvenirs, etc.

Course by Akiko Imoto, philogist of Japanese language and linguist. Professor of the Japanese JFS course at Casa Asia and associate professor at the UPF. She is an expert in Japanese language teaching.

Journalist in broadcasting and NHK collaborator. She was director of radio programs in Radio Tampa (current Radio Nikkei), Tokyo Japan.
Each summer travels through Japan. Lately she has been in Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Kumano, Koya-san, Aso-san, Yanagawa and Kagoshima, among others.
