Dawn in Asia

Dawn in Asia is an invitation to a way of life. By visiting Asian countries and immersing ourselves in their culture, we can halt the Western clock we all have inside us. Visiting beautiful spots full of history, conversing with the friendly Asian people and feeling the very essence of the land is a delightful, simple experience that captivates travellers from the moment they set foot in Asia.

And the temple became a forest. The trees embraced the stones not to ever be separated. This way, far from time, the biggest temple of the world remains. This is how Ankor Wat survives.

The Other Cambodia

I wait in the wet street but nobody is there. Far away, a shaky little light approaches, it is Unfo in its tuk tuk. A great smile with almond eyes is moved when it discovers we will not go to Angkor Wat today. Take me to floating villages, to rice fields, to the countryside; take me to meet your people, to taste what's authentic, to eat in the street, take me, I want to live the other Cambodia.

Aunmaslejos in Asia

Like a dream, like a sighing from the wind, that was how our trip towards Asia began. Almost two years have passed since we took the car in order to fulfill our curiosity, to interactuate with other cultures and people, who are far different from us, but who are driven by the same impulses.

A journey without a compass

Marco Polo affirmed that Ceylon, current Sri Lanka, was the most beautiful island of the world. Set on the furthest point of the Indian Ocean, opposite of the coast of South India, legends and history play hide and seek on an island that, with its poetic form of tear, invites travellers to lose track of time and space. Angels speak English

Lufthansa 747 had already landed. The nine-hour trip from Frankfurt didn't feel tiresome; I was distracted with the Hindu music on channel 10 and carefully examining the vegetarian meal. And especially looking at life with rolling eyes. Visit the Photo Gallery

Impressions from Vietnam

In July 2002 I went to Vietnam. It made a deep impression on me, the country as well as its people and customs. The fact that it was a country that had not had "tourist" exploitation made me be able to enjoy the charm of its people and its rich everyday life.
