"La Caixa" and Casa Asia Scholarships to study an MBA in China or India (2010)
"La Caixa" and Casa Asia, with the purpose to encourage the development of relations between Spain and the Asian area and to contribute to the training of managers, have decided to jointly finance a scholarship programme for graduates and people with superior degrees to course a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai or at the Indian School of Business (ISB), in Hyderabad.

The Global China Business Meeting ends with all eyes on the Asian Giant to overcome the crisis
More than 600 presidents and managing directors of the main Chinese companies have been brought together in Barcelona with companies of the whole world on the 17th and 18th of November within the Global China Business Meeting. This international event, held for the first time in Spain and with the slogan 'Globalizing Chinese companies', has allowed Chinese business leaders to discuss with their international homologous on the role of this economic power to avoid this current financial crisis end in a world recession.
The Observatory of Central Asia is born as a platform of mutual knowledge between the Euro-Asian region and Spain
Casa Asia, the CIDOB Foundation and the Real Instituto Elcano create the Observatory of Central Asia, a digital platform as a result of the initiative of these three Spanish institutes interested in the Central Asian area that at the end of 2007 decided to share their resources with the objective that the countries of Central Asia stop being among the most unknown by the Spanish people.

Muhammad Yunus opens the conference on microcredits organised by Casa Asia and Casa África
Within the framework of the conference on microcredits organised by Casa Asia and Casa África, in collaboration with the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation for Development (AECID) and Microbank, an opening dinner was held on the 4th of June chaired by Her Majesty the Queen, where the founder of the Grameen Bank, Muhammad Yunus, banker and economist of Bangladesh who has developed the concept of microcredits and received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006, delivered a master lecture.
