FIRE!! 14th International Display of Gay and Lesbian Cinema
Activity FIRE!! 2009 opens a new section with the title, "East of Eden", co-produced with Casa Asia, and devoted to transsexual cinema. Among highlighted films, "Between the lines" (India/Germany, 2005) by the director Thomas Wartmann, "Georgy girl" (New Zealand, 2001) by Annie Goldson and Peter Wells and "The Birthday" (Iran, 2006) by Negin Kianfar and Daisy Mohr are presented.
