Exhibition: "Tower of Silence"
Activity This exhibition gathers 54 photographs by Aitor Lara as a photographic tribute to the Tamerlane Embassy of Ruy González de Clavijo. The display is a photographic exhibition that somehow documents the current situation of the cities of the ancient Silk Route (Samarkanda, Tashkent, Khiva...) through which Clavijo travelled, at the same time it searches for traces of its past.

Speaker The Basque photographer Aitor Lara, author of the exhibition, achieved a Ruy de Clavijo Scholarship by Casa Asia to carry out a trip to Central Asia with a photography project that he was going to carry out in Uzbekistan.
Additional information The programme of Central Asia at the Foundation Tes Culturas includes a film and lecture series, and a musical programme whose first concert will take place on Friday 22nd of February, at 8.30pm, with the performance of the Mongolian singer Urna Chahar-Tugchi.
