Casa Asia has its headquarters in Barcelona, in the Palau Baró de Quadras, a Modernist building designed by the architect Puig i Cadafalch. The building, which is classified as an Artistic and Historical Monument of National Interest, is located at number 373 of Avinguda Diagonal in Barcelona. It is a unique building, with facilities well suited for accommodating Casa Asia's wide range of initiatives. Casa Asia has become a reference point and a center for cultural information on Asia and the Pacific and has provided the city with a meeting point between the Spanish society and the Asian world.

HRH The Prince of Asturias inaugurated Casa Asia's headquarters in an official ceremony on 16 June 2003. The Prince walked round Casa Asia's premises, unveiled a commemorative plaque and visited the exhibition 'Divine Presence: Arts of India and the Himalayas'. The Ambassadors of Asian and Pacific countries accredited in Spain attended the event, as did representatives of the three administrative institutions that make up the Casa Asia Consortium as well as other representatives of civil society.

In September 2005 Casa Asia has been able to make use of a new building adjoining its headquarters on Avenida Diagonal, which has broadened the available premises and services. The intense activity being developed by the institution with the holding of courses, seminars, conferences, film screenings, forums, etc, together with the increased demand for courses and workshops and the high numbers of students and researchers visiting the Media Library daily has made necessary the enlarging of Casa Asia’s physical space.

Huang He Business Circle. Situated on the third floor of the adjoining building, this is the space that Casa Asia places at the service of the business community with the aim of serving as a meeting point for Spanish and Asian companies through the holding of business meetings, discussion forums, etc. It is also where the working breakfast and section meetings are held.

Terrace – Orient Garden. This is an area that Casa Asia uses for the holding of certain events such as presentations, musical performances, cultural and gastronomic demonstrations, etc. In 2005 the artist Jordi Gispert produced a work in this space using elements such as stone, sand, glass and stainless steel. In the transformation undertaken by the artist, highlights are the Zen gardens with sand and lotus, a 6-metre long bridge which spans the central patio and which symbolises the union between East and West, the painted bamboo canes over the cabinets which store equipment, petals of stone and other symbolic elements related to Asia.
