Casa Asia Award 2010

One of the most important goals of Casa Asia is the promotion of activities and projects that contribute to a better knowledge and to strengthen ties (political, economic, cultural, institutional, commercial, academic and social) between the societies of the Asia-Pacific region and Spain.

With this Award, Casa Asia acknowledges persons and institutions of Spain and the Asia-Pacific region that have enhanced, with their projects and actions, the understanding, dialogue and harmony between the societies of Asia, the Pacific and Spain and/or have stood out for their work to improve human rights in the Asia-Pacific region.

Casa Asia bestows the 2010 Casa Asia Award according to the following rules:

RULES

The Prize is awarded annually and it is bestowed to honour the people, organizations and institutions that have contributed to enhance dialogue, harmony and knowledge between the societies of Spain and the Asia-Pacific region and/or have stood out for their work to improve human rights in the Asia-Pacific region.

Candidates for the Award can be persons, institutions or organizations from Spain and the Asia-Pacific region. Candidates for the Award can be nominated by persons, institutions or organizations from Spain and the Asia-Pacific region.

The nominations, conveniently documented, must credit the physical or legal entity of the requester and the merits of the physical or legal entity nominated to receive the Award. They must be sent in duplicate before June 11th 2010, specifying 'Premio Casa Asia 2010' to the following address (Documentation will not be returned after the decision of the Jury):

The Award can be granted ex aequo. It can also be declared void, in which case, its endowment will not accumulate. It can be granted posthumously. The decision will be unappealable. The Award will consist of 6.000 euros in cash. The Award will be given in an
event organized by Casa Asia.
